Replacing An Existing Unit

The power unit is usually mounted in the garage, basement, utility room, storage room, or mud room to remove dust and allergens from living areas.

Most central vacuum manufacturers design their mounting hardware so that the unit can easily be removed from the wall for replacement or service, so replacing a unit is simple. Follow the instructions in the installation guide.
